Dr Shozo Fujita is a biotechnology consultant with expertise in developing a novel aptamer platform incorporating modified nucleotide chemistries. He has previously held positions as R&D Director at Fujitsu Laboratories, where he pioneered the development of DNA aptamers with protein-like side chains for diagnostic use, and as Chief Technology Officer and Founder of Apta Biosciences, where he progressed the development of modified DNA aptamers to a range of important disease biomarkers.
